The Underrated

After week 3 of the season we have been able to grab a strong grasp which players are underrated and have the potential to be an “it” factor in the journey of the a league championship!

Emeka Egbuka (WR, Buccaneers)
The rookie running wideout wasted no time making an impact. In the past three games he has a been able to avg 17 fantasy points per game (ppr). With a target progression of 6,7,8 only proving a point to be a vocal point in the pass heavy offense. Coming into week for with a 14-181-3 stat line there are no signs of the dynamic rookie slowing down any time soon even with the return of veteran Chris Godwin.

Omarion Hampton (RB, Charger)
Starting off the season slow it was only a matter of time when he was going to break out. Hampton broke out after Najee Harris’ season-ending Achilles injury, flashing burst but averaging under 4.0 YPC as Denver stacked the run. With Haskins and Vidal likely rotating, Hampton’s immediate impact as a pass-catcher makes him the clear top option in the backfield.

Cam Skattebo (RB, Giants)
This guy is the old fashioned put your head down and just run. Not extremely flashy but a brut to take down and someone who never will shy away from gaining an extra 2/3 yrd’s through contact. Cam Skattebo has quickly emerged as the Giants’ lead back. After logging his first NFL touchdown in Week 2, he followed up with 121 total yards and another score in Week 3, leading the team in rushing and receiving after Tyrone Tracy exited early. With back-to-back strong outings, Skattebo is positioned for a significant role moving forward, regardless of Tracy’s health.

Keenan Allen (WR, Chargers)

Keenan Allen has quickly rekindled chemistry with Justin Herbert, catching 19 of 28 targets for 194 yards and three TDs in his Chargers return. While Ladd McConkey is the top option, Allen looks more like a 1B than a No. 2. Week 3 brought a tough Broncos secondary yet to allow a WR touchdown but Allen scored yet again. As a veteran who has been known to be consistent with crucial receptions expect him to be that solid player he always was.
