For the overthinkers or the “just want a little extra reassurance”.

1. Caleb Williams, QB - Chicago Bears

The rookie sensation is riding high after strong performances, and this week presents another excellent opportunity. Las Vegas sits in the top 10 in passing yards and passer rating allowed, making them a prime target for fantasy quarterbacks. Williams has shown he can capitalize on favorable matchups, and the Bears' offensive weapons give him multiple ways to produce fantasy points. With his rushing upside as an added bonus, Williams is a strong QB1 play this week.

2. Cam Skattebo, RB - Arizona Cardinals

Cam Skattebo can build off his prime-time breakout in a bigger role against the Chargers. After his impressive outing against a solid Chiefs defence. Skattebo has earned more touches in the giants backfield rotation and against Chargers defense, while improved, still presents opportunities for running backs who can catch passes out of the backfield. Skattebo’s versatility and momentum make him an excellent flex play with RB2 upside.

3. Brian Thomas Jr., WR - Jacksonville Jaguars

The 2nd year wide receiver has been one of the season's biggest surprises and continues to see a decent target share in Jacksonville's passing attack even after some key drops. Wondering how to handle Brian Thomas Jr. in Week 4 fantasy football lineups might be a question to some but he has yet to have his breakout game and when better to play against a 49ner’s tea,. His big-play ability and consistent involvement in the offense make him a reliable WR2 with upside for more. Don't overthink this one - start him with confidence.

SIT 'EM

1. Dak Prescott, QB - Dallas Cowboys

Prescott has only enjoyed one big performance so far, against the Giants, and has totaled just three passing touchdowns through three games in 2025 -- equaling the number of picks he's thrown. The situation gets worse as he is expected to be without his top receiver, CeeDee Lamb, for a bit. Facing a gritty Packers defense that has allowed the top 10 in-fewest passing yards and just a few passing touchdowns this season while generating pressure, Prescott is a risky QB2 play at best this week.

2. David Montgomery, RB - Detroit Lions

How will David Montgomery fare against a stout Browns defense is the key question, and the answer dont look as promising as the surprise Ravens performance . Cleveland's run defense has been impressive through three games, limiting opposing running backs' fantasy production. With Jahmyr Gibbs likely to handle passing down work, Montgomery's upside is capped by weather he scores a touchdown against a defense that has shown they can shut down the ground game. Look for better options in your flex spot.

3. Tee Higgins, WR - Cincinnati Bengals

While it may seem crazy to sit a player of Higgins caliber, Week 4 fantasy football matchup rankings show to downgrade due to his matchup situation and QB situation. Combined with Cincinnati's offensive line struggles and a potentially tough defensive matchup, there are better WR3/flex options available this week. If you have the depth, consider pivoting to a more favorable matchup with someone who is known in the offense and has been consistent with 5+ targets a game.
